About the Role:

J & J Air is looking for a lead installer who has a passion for doing things right and taking care of the customer. If your work speaks for itself and the people that come behind you say, "Wow, whoever did this install knows what they're doing", then J & J Air is the place for you.

$2500 Hiring Bonus for qualified candidates paid half at 6 months and half at 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Build comfort systems by installing air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, duct work, refrigerant tubing, and related components
  • Complete high and low voltage power connections
  • System start up and commissioning including verifying refrigerant charge, cfm settings and temperature difference
  • Keep tools and company vehicle operating by following operating instructions, maintain supplies
  • Document actions by completing equipment records and service orders
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
  • Comply with legal regulations
  • Participate in educational opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC installation
  • Job knowledge: HVAC Systems, Equipment Maintenance, and Basic Safety
  • EPA certification
  • NATE certification a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Proactive and self motivated work ethic
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical hours 7am-4pm
